Best Thesis Award

On 17 September 2022, Anna Hartmann was honoured with the Best Thesis Award for her outstanding Master's thesis on the feminist foreign policy of Sweden and Canada.

With her theory-based conceptualisation of feminist foreign policy, Ms Hartmann deals with a topic that has so far only been dealt with in a rudimentary way in academia. In doing so, Ms Hartmann succeeds in dealing with a current topic that is of high academic as well as political relevance - feminist foreign policy - in such a way that it not only contributes to the academic literature on the topic, but also lays relevant foundations for a transfer to practice.
