Chair of International Relations

The Chair offers introductory classes to International Relations, its central topics and fundamental theoretical approaches. Furthermore, the Chair of International Relations teaches introductions to peace and conflict research.

Further seminars focus on the role of international organizations in global politics, international norms, and authority and resistance in the transnational sphere. Methodologically, the Chair focuses on a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods. In this context, the Chair offers seminars on methods of data generation and analysis (from interview research to content and discourse analysis, to name but a few examples).
