Liquid Spirit | contains sulphites, facts and encounters
Curious to learn about wine and meeting new people? Liquid Spirit creates a space between guided wine tasting, interactive discourse and personal exchange. You will get hands-on access to an interdisciplinary understanding of quality- and sustainability-based wine while spending quality time with your friends and meeting new people.
The format is moderated by one of our fellow students, Glenn. He is a wine merchant, trained chef and currently writing his bachelor thesis about wine. In 2014 Glenn founded his own company, which is particularly dedicated to high-quality organic wine trade and tasting events. Since then, he is working together with excellent biodynamic producers. Among others, his portfolio includes the two well-known german wineries: Dr Bürklin-Wolf and Odinstal.
What´s behind organic production and cloudy wines? Is price a suitable comparison criterion? And what are cow horns doing in vineyards? Discussing questions like these, Liquid Spirit wants to open up an interactive space for wine-interested students from various backgrounds and countries.
