Workshop on City-Diplomacy with Prof Dr Tomasz Kaminski
Tomasz Kaminski is an associate professor at the Faculty of International and Political Studies at the University of Lodz (Poland). During the workshop, he will present the findings of his current research on para-diplomacy (city diplomacy).
Para-diplomacy is a research stream that focuses on the sub-national dimension of diplomacy by examining the cooperation between cities and regions, their international activities and their role in politics. In doing so, this workshop aims to promote thinking about diplomacy beyond the usual understanding of state-level diplomacy and its connection to a relational view.
