As Europe's number one part-time master degree for family entrepreneurship, our study program is geared towards successors, partners, and budding executives in family businesses who would like to get to grips with business administration specialized for family enterprises.
With the new program of studies "Executive Master of Arts of Digital Pioneering (eMA DIP)", originally developed together with the Deutsche Telekom AG, ZU has closed a long-lasting gap in the educational offer of German universities. The master program does not only address IT specialists with a background in computer science, business informatics, or mathematics who aim for a managerial career, but also staff members from the areas of corporate development, strategy and distribution, from journalism, trade and the service sector, as well as founders.
Budding commercial executives are confronted with an increasing number of challenges: the customer's desire for a shopping experience; the necessity of the synchronization of static and digital retail space; or the problems of consumer research among increasingly multi-optional consumers in fragmented markets – to name but a few. Since April 2013, following many requests from large German commercial enterprises, we offer a new, fully-accredited, part-time master degree on the theme of commercial management – the "Executive Master of Retailing (eMA R)".
The biggest tasks facing our society can no longer be solved in a compartmentalized way within one sector. Top managers of the future will also be judged on this, insofar as they incorporate intersectoral logics into their decisions and their leadership behavior. For the multilingualism of the sectors – in a problem solving sense – we have developed a program for (junior) executives in, and between, market, state, and civil society.
The program provides actionable business knowledge for engineering professionals, encompassing business strategy, structure, finance, accounting, and law. This knowledge provides participants with a sound basis for managing a business unit, department or project.
The Executive Master of Mobility Innovations is open for professionals from the transport and logistics industries (automotive, rail, shipping, aviation, etc.), as well as related fields, supplier industries or public policy institutions. The program is not consecutive and open for participants from different backgrounds: engineers, policy officers, human resource managers, communication and marketing experts, etc.

Since September 2011, it has been possible to do a supervised PhD at Zeppelin University. Following the opening of Zeppelin University Graduate School | ZUGS on January 20, 2012, admissions are possible according to the admission requirements specified in the Doctoral Regulations.
