As a private endowment university, ZU is supported by the ZU Foundation and finances itself exclusively through donations and sponsoring, tuition fees, competitively awarded third-party research grants, and also via income from academic services.
Academic partnerships provide ZU with
opportunities to make an academic contribution to companies, governmental
institutions, and cultural organizations, and to develop solutions to meet
specific societal challenges together with our cooperation and economic
partners.
Among other things, funding can be used to establish academic chairs and junior professorships that focus on basic and applied research on a particular topic as well as the development of the corresponding educational opportunities for our students.
We present some of the cooperation and support opportunities in the subject area of research and teaching at ZU.
