Ombudsperson for self-regulation in science

Upon proposal of the President, the Senate appoints a professor as representative for self-regulation in science (hereinafter: ombudsperson) as well as a deputy. As a person of trust, the ombudsperson advises those who inform him or her of concrete suspected scientific misconduct, as well as persons who feel exposed to the suspicion of scientific misconduct. In addition, the ombudsperson takes up concrete indications of scientific misconduct of which the ombudsperson becomes aware in any other way.
