We want all admitted applicants to be able to study with us, regardless of their financial background. Studying at ZU should not be a question of your own budget.
Through student funds, student loans, tax deductibility of your studies and special discounts, we support you in financing your Bachelor's or Master's degree without any worries. We would be happy to advise you personally to design a financing model that is tailored to your needs.
Discover our options for financing your studies.
A reduction in tuition fees is granted at Zeppelin University for the entire standard period of study of a Master's or Bachelor's degree program.
While state universities in Baden-Württemberg charge separate fees for a second degree course, applicants for a second degree course at Zeppelin University receive a reduction of 25% (percent) over the entire standard period of study for a Bachelor's or Master's degree course.
The reduction includes:
Our ZU Bachelor graduates receive a 50% (percent) discount on the total tuition fees within the standard period of study if they decide to continue their studies at Zeppelin University.
By means of funds (collection of money by investors) you can finance all or part of your studies (partly including living costs). One year after your studies at the earliest, you pay back an amount that is individually based on your current income at that time. You are even exempt from repayment up to a minimum income (depending on the fund).
A place at Zeppelin University does not guarantee you direct access to a fund. BrainCapital and Deutsche Bildung decide on the allocation according to their own criteria.
The ZU Education Fund is an innovative model of student financing in which you pay no tuition fees during your studies. Renowned investors pay the tuition fees for you. At the end of your studies, you pay back the tuition fees depending on your income.
Young academics can apply for up to 30,000 euros for their study and living costs via the study fund. Later, with their income-related payments to the study fund, they help to ensure that the principle of the reverse intergenerational contract works and enable new students to study.

A bank loan gives you the best possible flexibility. You can flexibly adjust the amount of financing you need and increase or decrease it as required. After your studies, you pay back a monthly amount.
A place at Zeppelin University does not guarantee you a bank-financed student loan. Each financing bank decides individually when granting a student loan based on its own criteria and specifications.
With a student loan from KfW (Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau), or an education loan, you can secure targeted support to finance your living costs while studying at Zeppelin University.
