for exceptional university starters and students
The scholarships are endowed by partners and sponsors of the university and are linked to studies at Zeppelin University. Scholarships at ZU are awarded for the entire standard period of study or for individual semesters.
We offer scholarships both for first-year students, who can apply for a scholarship directly with their application for a study place, and for Bachelor's and Master's students who are currently studying at Zeppelin University.

Scholarships for students with a stay abroad
Every year, Zeppelin University awards mobility scholarships to special students to finance study and research stays or living expenses abroad. The program offers selected students the opportunity to gain international experience within the framework of academic projects, to network with international academics and to expand their specialist skills in a complementary way. The scholarships are sponsored by partners and sponsors of the university.
One prerequisite is that you are already studying at Zeppelin University. Further information on ZU mobility scholarships can be found on ZUniverse, the ZU intranet.
The Udo J. Vetter Support Fund Travel Scholarships seek to encourage outstanding students at Zeppelin University to participate in professionally significant, geographically distant scientific conferences and meetings as well as in practice-based projects. The assessment of financial need is made by the applicant himself.
Udo J. Vetter Support Fund Travel Scholarships supports travel expenses of the following engagements:
- Study abroad
- Participation in scientific congresses and conferences
- Group excursions (participation in a group application does not exclude an individual application)
- Internships abroad (with earnings of max. 1,000 EUR per month)
