Visa Processing Time: If you are applying from outside the EU, please be aware that visa processing can take up to a year, depending on the country. Before applying for a specific semester intake, we advise visiting the website of the appropriate embassy in your country. Processing times and requirements can vary by country and embassy, so make sure to check for all necessary information regarding appointment scheduling for your visa application.

Account Requirement: To
secure an embassy appointment, you must provide proof of a "blocked
account" with a minimum balance of €12,384 per year to cover living
expenses. ZU scholarship does not cover cost of living.
