Cooperations

The ZU is a partner institution of the BZQM (dt.: Binationale Zentrum für qualitative Methoden). The Binational Center of Qualitative Methods is a joint scientific institution of the University of Constance and Thurgau University of Teacher Education (PHTG), which is supported by both institutions.

The scientific work of the BZQM is based on the methodological part of the research activities of its members. The center bundles its activities on specific topics and ensures an exchange of ideas. It supports the need for further methodological development and provides scientists at all qualification levels with sound methodological advice.

In this sense, the BZQM functions as an infrastructural platform for professionalization in qualitative methods.

Interested ZU researchers can take part in events such as consultation hours, workshops, data sessions, methods training and the research workshop. Information on the events and registration can be found at the BZQM event calendar.

Coordinator and central point of contact for our junior researchers is the ZU Graduate School.
