Profile of the one-year Master's program

Zeppelin University also offers one-year Master programs. To apply for the one-year Master in International Relations & Global Politics you require a BA degree comprising 240 ECTS-points and a study focus on international relations, established by at least 4 appropriate courses with a total of at least 24 ECTS-points.


Structure & content

The structure and content of the one-year Master in International Relations & Global Politics are based on the two-year Master program of the same name. The module descriptions for that program also apply to the one-year Master. Further information is provided in the Study and Examination Regulation.


Major Phase (36 ECTS)

6 required elective modules in semesters 1 & 2

Because IRGP is an English-language graduate program, very good English language skills at C1 level are required. German language proficiency is desirable, but not a mandatory admission requirement. If there is a request to take courses from our other graduate programs, German teaching formats may be available to you.
