Background

History
In January 2008: Formation of the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Finance by Prof. Dr. Stephan A. Jansen (former president of Zeppelin University) and Steven Wilkinson (managing partner of Buchanan GmbH).
May 2010: Expansion of the institute with the introduction of an assistant professorship for Alternative Investments and Corporate Governance (until 2012).

Unique Features
Our focus in research and teaching lies on “entrepreneurial finance”, namely on the entrepreneurial sciences with a consistent perspective on capital markets and financing instruments. Our approach relies on partnerships with enterprises and entrepreneurs in the area of capital market research.
