Jan S. Zipp is Ph.D. student at the Chair of Art Theory & Curating and member of the IBM THINKLab, located on the campus of the IBM Research laboratory in Zurich, Switzerland. The THINKLab is an innovation hub bridging science & research, business and society.

Programming Creativity – Semantics and Organisation of Creativity within IT Enterprises.
Upon graduating from the Communication & Cultural Management program at Zeppelin University, Jan S. Zipp wrote his master's dissertation on “Creativity and creative imperative”. Prior to this, he studied International Business and Management Studies in the Netherlands and worked at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt and Amsterdam for two semesters. His current research focuses on the discourse of creativity and new concepts of (artificial-) creativity through the perspective of cultural sociology. The working title of his PhD-thesis is: Programming Creativity – Semantics and Organisation of Creativity within IT Enterprises.
