Zeppelin University is delighted to announce a generous donation of 250,000 euros from Ingrid Gerberding. This extraordinary donation enables the establishment of five new scholarships, each endowed with 50,000 euros. This means that Ingrid Gerberding will enable five young people to study at ZU.

The scholarship will be called the Horst Gerberding Scholarship and was named in honor of Ingrid Gerberding's late husband. He was instrumental in establishing the international family business Dragoco. The scholarships are intended to give talented young adults from disadvantaged socio-economic backgrounds access to a high-quality university degree at Zeppelin University.

Horst Gerberding would have celebrated his 100th birthday in 2025. We are proud to offer five high-achieving applicants the opportunity to study at Zeppelin University in this special year, honoring the memory of Horst Gerberding. These scholarships will not only ease the financial burden on students, but will also support their academic and professional development, contributing to diversity and excellence at our university.

Our sincere thanks go to Ingrid Gerberding for her generous support, which will make a lasting contribution to the promotion of young talent.
