The Center for Mobility Studies is pleased to announce that this week Prof. Dr. Wolfgang H. Schulz has become a member of the research-accompanying working group of the project for profitability and amortization analysis of predictive maintenance solutions for rail infrastructure.
The aim of the project is to describe the possible applications of predictive maintenance solutions, which requires a systematization of the overall maintenance planning process. In addition, it will be evaluated how the individual planning tasks at the different levels benefit from the application of predictive maintenance methods. To this end, profitability and amortization analyses are carried out and maintenance strategies are analysed over the entire life cycle.
The project partners are TÜV Rheinland, DB Netz AG, pom+Consulting AG and Porsche Consulting.
