The Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin was once again able to award the Christian Fiedler Scholarship in 2024. This scholarship enabled three outstanding students to participate in the research trip of the Transcultural Student Research Groups to Pretoria, South Africa.
The scholarship recipients, Arushi Chakravarty, Johannes Sonneborn, and David von Brück, had the opportunity to meet the donors, Dr. Angelika Fiedler and Prof. Dr. Volkhard Fiedler, during this year's ZU Summer Festival on September 14, 2024, and personally discuss their projects and research ideas. Also attending the meeting were Quratul Aan, Project Manager of the Transcultural Student Research Groups, and Dr. Jessica G. Schwengber, LEIZ Managing Director and Project Leader of the Transcultural Caravan Network.
Established in memory of the dedicated ZU student Christian Fiedler, the Christian Fiedler Scholarship has supported students in implementing innovative, student-led projects since 2020. It aims to promote transcultural understanding and academic excellence — qualities that Christian Fiedler embodied and significantly shaped during his time at ZU.
This year’s scholarship recipients stand out for their commitment to transcultural research. With their projects, including a research trip to Pretoria, they contribute to the advancement of knowledge and intercultural dialogue. We warmly congratulate Arushi Chakravarty, Johannes Sonneborn, and David von Brück on this remarkable achievement and wish them much success!
