On 26 March 2026, LEIZ and the Transcultural Caravan officially kicked off the Transcultural Student Research Group (TSRG) 2026. Under the theme “Transculturalism in Times of Rising Authoritarianism and Polarization”, 20 students from seven partner universities came together to launch a joint, transdisciplinary research project.

The participating universities are Zeppelin University, University of Lodz, Vietnamese-German University, University of Pretoria, University of Mpumalanga, Nelson Mandela University, and ISM University of Management and Economics.

The TSRG is supervised by the following project managers and university representatives: Dr. Quratul Aan, Dr. Jessica G. Schwengber, Tomasz Kamiński, Kamagano Sethono, Ngoc Lan Dang, and Tobias Grünfelder Campoverde.

The TSRG aims to foster transcultural knowledge exchange by bridging perspectives across disciplines, cultures, and geographies. The research results will be published as a joint volume in the “Transcultural Management Series” through the Metropolis Verlag.
