ZU Scholarship

for first-year Undergraduate and Graduate students

Zeppelin University is the top private university in Germany. Above all, we benefit from a diverse student body.

Who is the ZU scholarship offer aimed at?

The basic prerequisite and criterion N°1 for the award of a scholarship is that the applicant cannot afford the tuition fees due to their socio-economic background.

In addition, extraordinary commitment in the social, cultural, ecological, political or artistic field constitutes a further assessment criterion.

Furthermore, we welcome young people with exceptional characteristics who contribute to the diversity of a degree program and our university through their unique experiences beyond performance-based success.

Background of the scholarship

With the ZU Scholarship, Zeppelin University enables financially disadvantaged applicants to invest in their future. The ZU Scholarship is granted as a tuition fee waiver of 25, 50, 75 or 100 percent upon successful scholarship application for the duration of the regular period of studies and is aimed exclusively at first-year students.

Important: Individuals with a ZU Scholarship are ambassadors for Zeppelin University. They are expected to show special commitment to and for their university.

How do I apply for a ZU scholarship?

The ZU scholarships are aimed at study starters of all programs offered at ZU.

The application for the scholarship takes place exclusively in the context of your application for a study place, i.e. before the start of your studies. In the online form, use the upload field for a letter of motivation for the scholarship. On the selection day, the selection committee will decide whether you will be admitted to the program; it will also make a recommendation on the granting of a scholarship. A few days after the selection day, you will receive a message about the outcome of your scholarship application together with the contract documents.

ZU scholarships are awarded exclusively within the framework of the selection process, i.e. before the start of studies.

Apply

Important: Applicants can only apply for one scholarship as part of their online application. After submitting the online application or successfully participating in one of our selection days, it is no longer possible to reapply for the ZU Scholarship or the ZU Scholarship for Graduates of Friedrichshafen Schools Scholarship.
