Purpose of the loan
The KfW student loan will support you during your studies with a minimum of 100 and a maximum of 650 Euros per month – without loan security and independent from income or assets.
Who can apply?
Students of legal age at a state or state-recognized higher education institution located in Germany who are under the age of 44 on April 1st or October 1st prior to the start of financing and belong to one of the following groups:

The KfW education loans finances part of the cost of living during the final phase of studies. Monthly payments of 100, 200 or 300 euros, one-time payment of a partial sum possible, without collateral and independent of income.

Register and apply online for your KfW education loan.
It is possible to combine the KfW student loan with other student support programs such as the government education loan or the BAföG student grant.
The education loan can be combined, for example, with the BAföG, the BAföG bank loan and the KfW student loan.
