The ZU TalentCenter is the starting point for students when it comes to contacts in the exciting world of jobs and advice on all aspects of application and careers. Whether it's advice with practical training and internships at home and abroad, information on our coaching services or study projects with partners from ZU, our services for students cover all of the above and more.
In addition to individual counselling, we offer a wide range of events and workshops every semester: From job application training to student tax tips and case study workshops with exciting employers.

| Application - classic and creative
What should I include in my CV? How do I formulate a cover letter? And which certificates should I send with my application? Whether you're applying for an internship or your first job, your application portfolio is your ticket to an interview. If you know the rules, you can also break them. In this seminar you will learn examples of creative applications.
| The job interview
You have already convinced with your written application, the next hurdle is the job interview. In a personal interview, you can not only convince your future employer with your appearance, but also check for yourself whether the company is a good fit for you. In this workshop, you will learn about the interview process and receive valuable tips on how to prepare.
I My future perspectives - Who am I, what can I do, where do I want to go?
During your studies at ZU, you have taken interesting subjects, gained your first practical experience and worked on interesting projects. And now you ask yourself: And now? Where do I want to go professionally? Maybe you already have a lot of ideas, but none of them are quite right. Or you don't quite know yet where your actual interests and strengths lie. Or you already know roughly what you want to do later, but are still looking for confirmation of your plans?

Job and career portal
ZU|CONNECT is the job and career portal for ZU students and alumni.
There you will find current advertisements for (entry-level) positions, internships, part-time jobs and working student jobs. All ZU students as well as alumni have access to ZU|CONNECT. Companies and organisations can post any type of job advertisement and receive applications directly from Zeppelin University students and alumni!
ZU|CONNECT offers
| the search for internships, student jobs or (entry-level) job offers
| the search for a suitable PraxisCoach via our PraxisCoach Pool
| registration for events organised by the university or companies: Coaching workshops, forums, chats, competitions, etc.
| Automatic e-mail notification as soon as suitable job offers or career events are published and the opportunity to apply directly.
| Company profiles where companies can introduce themselves and present their career opportunities as well as job videos
| Mobile app to access one's profile from anywhere
Registration for students
Registering with ZU|CONNECT is quick and easy:
1. go to the job and career portal www.zu-connect.de
2. register with your ZU email address and a password
3. enter your profile as accurately as possible and upload your CV as a pdf. The more carefully you fill out your profile, the more interested companies usually are. You only have to enter very little information in a form, as you can link an up-to-date CV (pdf) to your profile at any time!
Funding opportunities for internships abroad
There are various options for financing internships abroad.

For internships in other European countries, there is the Erasmus+ programme. The programme coordination for ZU is carried out by the coordination office at the Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences. You can find information here

Practice Coaching
We are happy to support you in your search for a suitable PraxisCoach. Many of the former PraxisCoaches have agreed to take on coachees in the future. On our career platform zu|connect, we have created a database that provides you with an uncomplicated overview of all available practice coaches. Click here for our PraxisCoach Pool
You will benefit most from coaching if you have as precise an idea as possible of the issues your coach could help you with. Ideally, your coach should work in a field in which you see your professional future. If you still need support with your professional orientation, you are welcome to make an appointment with us.
