Zeppelin University bids farewell to its 44th year with 200 guests

Friedrichshafen. Zeppelin University (ZU) has bid farewell to its 44th graduating class. At a festive graduation ceremony on the ZF Campus of the ZU and in the Dornier Museum with 200 guests, including parents, friends and fellow students, the fresh graduates were presented with their Bachelor's and Master's certificates.


In his welcoming speech, ZU President Professor Dr. Klaus Mühlhahn congratulated the graduates on their degrees and wished them every success for the future. Professor Dr. Jan Söffner, holder of the Chair of Cultural Theory and Analysis, gave the keynote address. On behalf of their fellow students, Daniel Grosfeld and Theresa Koch looked back on their time at ZU in the student speeches and thanked the Presidential Board, professors and staff.


ZU students received awards from Vindelici Advisors AG for outstanding theses. Graduates Laura Grohmann and Emma Grube in the field of Communication and Cultural Studies and Tom Andohr in the field of Politics, Public Administration and International Relations received the "Best Bachelor Thesis Award", worth 300 euros, for the best Bachelor thesis. The "Best Master's Thesis Award" for the best Master's thesis, also worth 300 euros, went to Paulina Bulligan in the field of Politics, Public Administration and International Relations. The awards were presented by Juliana Simon and Tom Höweler from Vindelici Advisors AG.


The "Gips-Schüle Student Research Award", sponsored by the Stuttgart-based Gips-Schüle Foundation and endowed with 300 euros, was also presented. The prize was awarded to Laura Grohmann and Theresa Koch in the field of communication and cultural studies and Lara-Maria Mixdorf in the field of sociology, politics and economics. The awards were presented by Dr. Stefan Hofmann, Chairman of the Gips-Schüle Foundation, which promotes research, young talent and teaching in Baden-Württemberg.
