FIF is constantly evolving in order to link science and practice more closely together. Thus, we at FIF develop innovative business models around the sustainability of family businesses.

The first spin-off of FIF is philoneos GmbH, a transformation consultancy for family businesses founded in 2018 and based in Munich.

philo stands for love and affection, neos for the new and change. philoneos is the affection for the new, i.e. the joy of shaping possible futures. This is exactly what the future transformations office from Munich tries to live every day together with (family) businesses. In this way, philoneos accompanies all those in transformation processes who want to withstand the challenges of the constantly changing context - co-creatively, long-term and scientifically sound.

The 15-strong team accompanies numerous well-known family businesses such as Kieback&Peter, MEY and the Pfeifer Group. And exceptions prove the rule: non-family-run companies such as Stadtwerke München, the Swiss Ski Association and FSC are also among the long-term clients.
