The Gaia-X 4 Future Mobility project family meeting took place in Cologne on December 7. The current work status of the various projects and the project family's appearance at the Hannover Messe in the coming year were discussed. Many inspiring discussions provided new input for further work in the projects.
The Center for Mobility Studies and the Chair of Mobility, Trade and Logistics are consortium partners in the projects 4AMS (Advanced Mobility Services), 4ROMS (Remote Operation for Automated and Connected Mobility Services) and 4moveID (Decentralized Digital Vehicle Identities in the Highly Connected Traffic Environment).
The team from the Center for Mobility Studies and the Chair of Mobility, Trade and Logistics are developing, among other things, the role models that form the basis for implementing the technical and economic system architecture for a data and service ecosystem in the field of mobility. The system architecture creates decentralized systems that meet the corresponding requirements for data usage and data provision. The establishment of a data service ecosystem on the basis of a non-discriminatory system architecture also increases the cooperation dynamics and thus also the willingness of stakeholders to push for incentives for data provision, both monetary and technical, so that positive feedback processes from the use of hardware and software during operation can flow into quality assurance and the further development of the data service ecosystem
