The new University Council is part of a larger restructuring process that began in fall 2025. On October 1, 2025, the Senate unanimously approved a new version of the Basic Regulations. The new basic regulations give the university management greater entrepreneurial scope for action. This makes the university more agile and adaptable to changing demands. With the University Council, a strategically steering supervisory body has been introduced to continuously optimize the university's competitiveness.
