This week, a Gaia-X 4 Advanced Mobility Services (AMS) consortium meeting took place at the Fraunhofer Forum in Berlin. The Center for Mobility Studies, represented by Jens Gessler, together with Christian Metzner from the htw saar Transport Telematics Research Group, presented the progress of AMS policies, a cornerstone of our operating model. The meeting focused on discussing technological advances and the ground-breaking potential of an AMS data room.
What is the potential of Gaia-X 4AMS?
The aim of the project is to build an open, scalable, decentralized data ecosystem. This ecosystem empowers industries, cities and municipalities to maintain their data sovereignty while reducing transaction costs and paving the way for innovative business models for future mobility.
The Center for Mobility Studies is involved in the Gaia-X projects 4AMS, 4ROMS and moveID and is developing the necessary governance, system architecture and operating models using, among other things, the theory of the institutional role model.
Together, we are not only observing the future of mobility; we are creating it on the way to a more connected and sustainable world.
