The LEIZ is pleased to announce another exciting publication. “Future Perspectives on Transcultural Leadership” by Jessica Geraldo Schwengber, Quratul Aan and Tobias Grünfelder looks at transcultural leadership in our increasingly complex and global world.
In order to meet challenges such as wars, pandemics or climate change, new ways of thinking are required. In addition to cooperation and togetherness, leadership must be rethought so that we as a society remain viable in possible futures. This book is dedicated to the building block of transcultural leadership, which makes it possible to develop common patterns of action across cultures. At the same time, it maintains cultural diversity for broad cooperation across cultures.
The authors, a project team from the Transcultural Caravan Network (TCN), provide possible perspectives through the lens of social, political and economic transcultural leadership. In this way, transcultural leadership is expanded to include interdisciplinary perspectives in order to shed light on a variety of outlooks. Under the direction of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the TCN is a project of universities worldwide with the aim of facilitating multilateral research projects for students.
The publication was published by Metropolis and is available here. “Future Perspectives on Transcultural Leadership” provides current insights into a constantly rotating world with ever new possible futures. It gives us the options for action that are necessary to remain viable as a community in the future. So let yourself be carried away and take part in successfully shaping our future!
