We are currently seeking a full-time Research Assistant Pre-Doc/Post-Doc in Economics and Social Sciences for an initial two-year term at the Leadership Excellence Institute Zeppelin | LEIZ.
Led by Prof. Dr. Josef Wieland, the Chair for Institutional Economics, Organizational Governance, Integrity Management & Transcultural Leadership, LEIZ is developing a concept of Relational Economics, which views a company as a nexus of stakeholders' resources and interests. This research focuses on the consequences of the Shared Value approach of the Agenda 2030 and the SDGs for corporate practice, particularly in the context of global value creation and social responsibility.
Your Role:
You will lead the international research project “UNIDO Working Group on Shared Value Creation & Social Innovation,” working closely with our project partners. The project aims to:
- Report on the international state of the scientific/practical discussion.
- Identify the substantive and practical challenges for Shared Value Accounting.
- Develop a standard for Shared Value measurement and certification.
- Demonstrate scientific and practical solutions for these challenges.
- Introduce the discussions and results of the Working Group through suitable media, publications, events, and professional conferences.
Your Profile:
- An above-average master’s degree or doctorate in business administration, economics, sociology, or political science.
- Experience in designing and implementing research projects.
- Experience in theoretical conceptualization and operationalization of constructs.
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner.
- Teamwork and professional handling skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
