Visiting Professor of Methods of Behavioral and Brain Research

Teaching

Regularly, two Student Study seminars are offered that provide an introduction to the use of the Hugo-Eckener-Laboratory (HEL). One course is designed as a general, overview course, the others as project courses. In the first course, the basics of structural and functional neuroanatomy, as well as the most important methods of experimental psychology and brain research are developed and demonstrated. In the second course the participants are shown how to develop a question for their own experimental research, to carry out the experiment independently, to analyze the data, and to present it as a poster.

Additional courses related to the research focus areas of the visiting professor can be offered on demand.
