Bettina Arnegger

Bettina Arnegger graduated from ZU with an Executive Master in Mobility Innovations | eMA MOBI. She is currently working on her Ph.D. at the ZU Chair of Mobility, Commerce, and Logistics in artificial intelligence at NVIDIA. She is also CEO and Co-Founder of the micro-mobility startup Newbility GmbH.

How did your studies prepare you for what you do today?

"The studies taught the change of perspective. It's about getting away from one-dimensional business thinking patterns, understanding paradoxes of the mobility industry, and envisioning the future of mobility.
For me, that was the start of a brisk journey full of strong impulses and inspiring fluff. Today, I bring that to professional practice, my research, and company formation every day."

Why exactly eMA at the ZU?

"No buzzword is bullshitting, but meaningful education and practical knowledge close to business reality. Compatible with professional life. That's what the eMA program promised and delivered."

Looking back, what has ZU delivered that another university doesn't offer?

"ZU stands for interdisciplinarity in the curriculum, depth in teaching and research, and a carefully curated professorial and student life. I still benefit from the incredible ZU network and the Pioneer Port startup center today.
But at its core, it's about building one's mindset and personality. Completely individually. That is ZU's USP."
