Dr. Katharina Göbel studied Communication & Cultural Management at ZU and is now a postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Kinesiology at the University of Hamburg.
"I work as a postdoctoral associate at the University of Hamburg in a research and teaching context in the areas of Cultural Sociology and Sociology of the Body, where I study the relationship between body and architecture and body and (digital) technology. Today, scientific research is focused more and more on intersectorally relevant themes and topics, on research paradigms and less on disciplines and faculty cultures. As far back as ten years ago, my studies at ZU helped me to see this change developing and prepared me for it. This experience had a lasting effect on me and it influences my current job."
"…I think of an intensive time of personal and institutional awakening and the discovery of my thinking. I'm very thankful that I had the privilege of studying there. After many meetings with former fellow students I am inspired and excited by the variety of jobs that they have now and it makes me happy to still be associated with memories of a magical and unique time at ZU."
