Michael Johannes Müller studied CCM in his master's degree at ZU until 2014 and currently works as a cultural agent and systemic organizational consultant.
"As a cultural agent, I am an independent link between relevant actors of cultural education in the municipal educational landscape. In doing so, I advise a wide variety of people in schools, offices, and cultural institutions. On the one hand, my studies at ZU sparked my interest in such an intermediate position and equally qualified me for it. My field of activity moves between business, culture, and politics. ZU has allowed me to understand different system logics and to use the space in between as a fertile breeding ground for new things."
"Before studying at ZU, I worked as an actor for seven years at various German stages. For me, CCM was the course of study in which I could build based on my previous professional experience. The master allowed me to research an actor, not only in theater but also in completely different areas. Thus, in my master's thesis, I examined artistic and aesthetic practice in the development of managers, dealt with whether and how managers can train charisma, and analyzed organizational development processes through the lens of modern forms of theater."
"For me, ZU was a place that encouraged me to think broadly. A place where perhaps, in the conventional sense, cross-curriculum was wanted and valued. A place where there were more questions than answers. A place where I learned that the future lies in networks."
