Anna Maria Zepp studied Communication & Cultural Management at ZU and currently works as Senior Project Manager, Director's Office at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

How did your studies prepare you for your current job?

"My professional work requires both organizational talent and answers to content-related questions. ZU has also constantly challenged both aspects: One gains organizational experience in the Zeppelin Project and the multitude of student initiatives. In terms of content, I was prepared through seminars such as "Image Theory" or "Cultural Industry & New Strategies of Contemporary Cultural Institutions". On the one hand, this sharpened my understanding of economic or organizational requirements, and on the other hand, I developed a good knowledge of the academic discourses in which our exhibitions operate."

Today, when I look back at my ZU time.

"... I think with great gratitude of a formative time spent in a place that was right for me. I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere between committed, knowledge-thirsty, and charismatic fellow students, infectious professors, and warm-hearted staff. The ZU environment offered me to challenge and security at the same time. I also think of countless good parties and the beautiful view of Lake Constance. "
