The "Smart Government Akademie Bodensee" (Smart Government Academy Lake Constance) networks experience and knowledge across countries in order to jointly utilise current opportunities and challenges of tomorrow's administration. The project was founded in 2019 by nine cities and municipalities from Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the Zeppelin University, the University of St. Gallen, the University of Constance and the University of Applied Sciences Vorarlberg. As a founding member, TOGI has been involved from the very beginning. The academy was supported by the Interreg V-Programme for the three years until June 2022.
Since then, the cities of Friedrichshafen and Constance have been engaging in regular professional exchanges with Zeppelin University on issues relating to smart cities and data excellence. This collaboration led to the successful development of Smart Green City Konstanz by the city of Constance.
Further information on the project partners and ongoing activities can be found on the website of the Smart Government Academy Lake Constance, which has since been discontinued and is therefore unfortunately now only available in the Internet archive of the Smart Government Academy Lake Constance website.
We have compiled relevant research findings by Zeppelin University at the bottom of this overview.

The Open Government Institute works closely with the cities of Friedrichshafen, Ravensburg and Constance as part of the Smart Government Academy Lake Constance. The exchange with all other cities around the lake is also maintained.
